Fall in Colorado

Bugling elk, the chance of snow, 80 degree days…you never know what you will experience on a fall day in Colorado. You can count on the sunshine though, we have always got sunshine.

The Front Range region of Colorado stretches along the foothills at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

Easily accessible from Denver International Airport, the Front Range boasts it’s own beauty and serves as a gateway to the Rockies. Cities in this area are known for their excellent biking, both on trails and on safe well-designed bike lanes. Walking and hiking trails lead across hills and around lakes, ponds, and through each town. Colorado is a visually striking location to complete alcohol and drug addiction treatment. Though the weather is changing, the fall months still have plenty of outdoor opportunities.

Elk produce a wild sound during mating season each fall. Called bugling, the sound rises to a high pitch from a low rumble followed by series of grunts. Bull elks may fight with a clash of antlers. Weighing up to one thousand pounds bull elk are a sight to see.

The changing leaves of the aspen trees make Colorado glow golden yellow in fall. Their bright white trunks highlight the small round gold aspen leaves as they quake in the wind.

Colorado’s sunny dry weather allows for outdoor activities even in cooler weather. Stroll through nearby Benson sculpture garden, explore Lory State Park, or walk around Lake Loveland.

Located in northern Colorado along the Front Range, InnerBalance Health Center provides access to the beauty this state offers. Our balconies and decks overlook the foothills to the west. During the fall and winter months a fireplace lights the dining room. Holistic treatment touches on all aspects of how addiction affects an individual—medical, emotional, physical—with group & private counseling, medical IV treatments, exercise, nutritional education in a warm enriching environment. Visiting Colorado, with all it’s natural beauty, is a wonderful, healthy place to seek holistic addiction treatment.

At InnerBalance Health Center, we strive to get the best addiction treatment to gain a better understanding of the psychological effects of addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.. Is the staff available 24/7?

Yes, at InnerBalance Health Center clients have access to a staff member 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Does the treatment center prescribe addictive medications such as benzodiazepines or opiates?

No, InnerBalance does not prescribe those types of medications, unless needed for temporary stabilization for withdrawal symptoms. We focus on identifying the root causes of cravings, repairing your body’s biochemical imbalances and teaching you the lifelong skills necessary to stay sober.

How does the treatment center plan to eliminate depression, anxiety, sleep problems, mood swings, and racing mind?

At InnerBalance we realize the need to find the root cause of these issues. For example, a racing mind can come from too much histamine in the brain, a condition caused Histadelia. When we find this condition through lab testing, we use the safe amino acids and vitamins that will lower histamine levels. Depression can come from under-functioning neurotransmitters, like serotonin.

Through urine testing, we check the serotonin receptors by looking at the Tryptophan levels, and then treat with the appropriate amino acids. Please call us for a more thorough description on how we can deal with underlying symptoms. These examples just scratch the surface of our biochemical restoration approach which is integral to our holistic treatment philosophy.

Is the treatment center licensed by the state?

Yes, the InnerBalance Health Center is fully and duly licensed by the State of Colorado.

Does the treatment program offer an exercise program that the client participates in?
